Outfit Post: Neutral Safari Vibes

As much as I’m attracted to vibrant, bright colors, my style is loyal to a truly neutral palette. I love beige, white, tan, shades of grey and black. When I found this adorable plaid peplum top from Anthropologie, I knew I had to have it. Not only do I love this silhouette, but it’s a beautiful neutral plaid with a touch of texture. During the height of summer, I might’ve paired this with some white shorts, but since we’re moving into fall I went right for my green cargo skinnies from Rag & Bone. I often treat army green as a neutral, because it coordinates so perfectly. Unfortunately, the Bowery Cargo Skinny that I’m wearing are no longer available, but Rag & Bone has a pair in the same color and fit, just without the cargo detailing. Check these out from Nordstrom.

As for accessories, you’ll be happy to know I’ve added a different wool hat to the rotation to keep my Vince Camuto hat company. I found this one for a RIDICULOUS $8 at LF during the last week of their huge sale. It’s a Woolrich Inc hat, and it was seriously the best find. This guy is still available on the Woolrich site for full price, and it’s honestly a really well-made hat that I might have splurged for if it wasn’t on sale at LF.

This week I picked up not one but TWO black leather fringe bags. One is a larger, everyday bag that I purchased from someone off of Poshmark. The second is an adorable little fringe crossbody that I found at the LF sale. The brand is Cut n’ Paste, but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere online to link for you. So, as usual, I’ve found some alternatives!
