Denim Daze with Chic of Everything

I’m still fairly new to the blogging world, so there are parts of this experience that really excite and fascinate me. There’s something really cool about connecting with fellow bloggers from all over the country (and the world), and seeing the differences and similarities in how we dress. Weather and climate play a big role in this, which has been highlighted for me this season as the weather in New England starts to get colder and colder. I find myself feeling some outfit envy of those bloggers in warmer climates, still comfortably sporting dresses and shorts. But I suppose that probably goes the other way around, since fall outfitting and layering is pretty awesome too.

This week, I teamed up with fellow fashion blogger, Casady, from Chic of Everything with the challenge of styling a denim shirt. We didn’t discuss our outfitting beforehand, so it was a fun little experiment to see what we’d come up with. She went denim on denim, which I love. I chose a warmer, more layered look (probably because I’m always cold), with skinny cords and a fur vest. As always, outfit details are linked below!

Cloth & Stone Denim Shirt >> Also try this printed denim shirt, which is the exact same style as the one I’m wearing, but in a cool animal print.

Kensie Faux Fur Vest >> I have the lighter version of this vest, but I’m also a huge fan of the dark fur.

Vince Skinny Cords >> I couldn’t find any of these available online anymore, but here are the high rise cords from Urban Outfitters which are both affordable and comfortable.

Bed Stu Bonnie Boot >> These are available in limited sizes on 6pm, but are available on a few other sites if you do a quick google search!

Urban Outfitters Triangle Necklace >> I bought this necklace a few years ago, but I recently found this one at Forever21 that’s even better!
