Well, it happened: My winter coat has weaseled it’s way into everyday wear. I held off as long as I could, but I can only put on so many layers before my arms are unable to bend. So, since the winter coat is here to stay, it’s time to get all of my cold weather accessories in order. I wanted to start with beanies because I actually get pretty excited about them. Not only are they a great little accessory, but they’re extremely efficient in keeping you warm. I’m always shocked by how cold I become once I take off a beanie that I’ve been wearing all day.
I’ve acquired quite a collection of beanies, so I’m trying to keep the buying of new ones to a minimum. That obviously doesn’t stop me from picking out some of my favorite for you guys. And, let’s be honest, you know I’ll end up with some of these…
First, let’s talk Free People beanies. The hat I’m wearing in this post’s photo is a FP style from a couple years ago. I love how fluffy it is, because it keeps it’s shape nicely on my head. Free People seems to sell knit hats that are nice and full in shape. Try these:
Free People Printed Grizzly Beanie
Free People Pom Pom Beanie
Bickley & Mitchell Polar Bear Beanie
I also thought it was worth checking Forever21 for some more affordable finds! I love the graphic beanies with text on them… especially the “I hate winter” hat.
Brrr Graphic Beanie
Cable Knit Pom Ears Beanie
Reason I Hate Winter Beanie
Stay warm, beauties!
