This season, Anthropologie has seriously wowed me with their adorable shirtdresses. I’ve wanted ALL of them. I love that they’re the perfect transitional piece to move into these colder months, by pairing them with tights, tall socks and boots.

This particular shirtdress, by Holding Horses, is a bit of a different length than some of the others I’ve been eyeing. I love the midi length, and the opportunity that this style gives to rocking a really cool waist belt. I picture this dress transitioning into winter by throwing on an oversized sweater, and belting the two together. I would finish the look with a comfy pair of booties.

Another awesome midi style! This time with longer sleeves, for added warmth. Definitely pair this guy with a furry/knit vest!

The infamous plaid shirtdress strikes again! I just can’t get enough of plaid this season, and I’m especially attracted to plaid shirtdresses. Pair with super tall socks, boots and a leather jacket. Or you can even throw this on over a pair of skinny jeans!

How cute is this knot-detail shirtdress? This is such a simple element that really creates the whole look of this dress. Also, these colors are absolutely perfect for fall: burnt orange and navy.
