As the weather gets colder here in New England, my motivation to wear skirts and dresses decreases drastically. I’m cold pretty much all of the time, which directly impacts what I decide to dress myself in each morning. On especially cold mornings, you’ll find me in my closet staring longingly at my sweatpants and cozy thermals. However, for the sake of looking at least a little chic I’ll eventually put on some real clothes (and then wrap myself in a blanket scarf.)

It’s not unbearably cold yet, but I’m definitely starting to push those dresses toward the back of the closet. My recent purchase of my Bed Stu Bonnie Boots have inspired some outfits that have a less feminine feel. I finally got a chance to wear my comfy camo buttondown by Sanctuary Clothing, and I paired it with my usual Citizens of Humanity Rocket High Rise jeans. Since the buttondown is pretty oversized on me, I put on a leather vest to give me a little shape. As always, I finished the look with my wool hat!
