My First Rocksbox Set

I don’t know about you guys, but I think monthly subscription services are pretty genius. There are always new items worth trying, but who’s got the time to research all of them and to go out and buy them? Not me! These services do all of the work for us. They research new brands and designers, and they consider current trends. They even consider our individual wants and needs as consumers through surveys and honest feedback. When I heard about Rocksbox, I was pretty excited to try it out.

I don’t really consider myself a strong jewelry shopper. Sure, I can pick out some cool vintage bolo ties and statement necklaces from Free People, but I struggle with some of the more trendy pieces. I also have a tough time choosing the more delicate pieces of jewelry for myself. I’ve noticed that my attention span is pretty short with jewelry- I may choose a piece for a particular outfit and then never wear it again. Such a waste! So, considering all of this, when I heard what Rocksbox was about, I wanted in.

Rocksbox is a monthly jewelry subscription service that caters to your personal style. You fill out a survey (mostly just choosing photos of jewelry that speaks to your style), and based on that information you’ll receive a package with 3 pieces of jewelry to wear as much as you want. If you like any (or all) of them, then you can choose to purchase them. If you don’t care for the pieces, or if you’re done wearing them, then you simply send them back [in the same packaging with a pre-paid return label.] You’ll then receive a whole NEW set in the mail with different, brand new pieces.

In my first set, I received a ring and two necklaces. One necklace was a statement necklace and the other was more delicate. I chose to hold onto the statement necklace because it’s a perfect addition to any holiday outfit. The more delicate necklace was a Kendra Scott piece, and it was so pretty, but I felt like it was going to get lost in all of my heavier knit necklines this fall and winter. The ring was also a bit too sparkly for my taste (the statement necklace has enough sparkle to go around), so that will be sent back. I’ll also be leaving some feedback on the set, so that the stylists can more accurately choose pieces for me! I’m already excited to receive my next round of goodies.

If this sounds like something that you’re interested in, then you should give it go. It’s $19/month, and you can use my discount code twosipsofcoffeexoxo to receive your first month free. I’d also love to hear what you think of it if you do end up trying it (or if you already subscribe!)
